We are proud to have built up a high reputation for providing an efficient friendly Consultancy to our clients, combined with the production of reliable, practical and economic schemes and design solutions.
We are able to undertake projects of any size and complexity, and we make a point of exercising the same care and professional skill whatever the scale of the project. Computer aided design and detailing techniques are used when appropriate. Being based on the outskirts of Bristol we have excellent road and rail links with any part of the country, and thus can undertake, with confidence, projects in any U.K. location.
Over the years we have undertaken hundreds of projects of various sizes and budget costs. Such projects include industrial and commercial developments, car parks, schools, multi-storey flats and office buildings, hospitals, care homes, breweries, sheltered housing developments, leisure centres, housing developments, shopping precincts, petrol filling stations, business parks and town centre developments. Together with refurbishment and reinstatement work on a number of listed and ecclesiastical buildings.
We are pleased to undertake investigations into structural defects and prepare associated reports and remedial solutions. Over the years such reports have been prepared on structures of all sizes ranging from small retaining walls and forecourt signs, up to Factories and Departmental Stores.
Where necessary we can arrange for ground investigations, contamination tests, materials testing, etc. to be carried out by specialists, to augment our own enquiry.
Long term monitoring of suspect structures is also undertaken.
Subsidence problems, whether of domestic properties or otherwise, are frequently investigated by the Practice and our reports/recommendations have been successfully submitted to most Insurance Companies and Loss Adjusters.
The implementation of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations placed new legal requirements on Designers. Brunel Design Partnership are totally committed to compliance with the Regulations in consideration of the Health & Safety of construction workers (including cleaners and maintenance works, etc.) at the design/planning stages.
